We are delighted to introduce you to our Beauly Buzz 2024 line up and if last year was anything to go by we are in for another fantastic weekend to Buzz about.
Both with our regular band and some new bands to the the line up, it's going to be bigger, better and even buzzier than ever before!
In addition there will be informal "bring an instrument" sessions in Captain Faffs bar after the main performances and under the stretch tent.

Rhythmnreel
Based in the Highlands of Scotland, Rhythmnreel are a Rock band with an upbeat foot stomping Celtic vibe.
Their music is driven by thumping bass, drums & guitars, embellished with fiddle, whistle & Highland bagpipes, enveloped in the warm tones of the saxophone with songs & melodies that once inside your ears won’t leave you even in your deepest slumber.
The band were formed back in 1993 & have built up a strong & loyal following.

RANT is one of Inverness areas busiest and most in demand rock/pop covers bands who play a high octane set of well known floor fillers, from the sixties right up to present day songs by well known bands such as James, Oasis, Fratellis, Clash, Killers, Gerry Cinnamon, George Ezra, Stone Roses etc etc.

Forgetting The Future
Forgetting The Future are a 4 piece indie rock act from the Scottish Highlands Thurso/Glasgow. The band consists of Robbie McNicol, Sam Cowan, Max Paul and Jamie Mackay Their captivating energetic stage presence has earned them gigs alongside Sam Fender , THE HARA , The Luka State , King Charles , Neon Waltz and more. Forgetting The Future have also Sold Out many headline gigs around Scotland with many more to come along with major festival slots at The Isle Of Wight, Belladrum Festival & many more. Their first recording in their early teenage years was with Scottish legend Edwyn Collins in 2016 who charted in the UK back in the early 80’s with his band “Orange Juice”. In January 2019, FTF started working with Ken Allardyce (previously working with Green Day , Fleetwood Mac , Weezer plus many more) & his partner Alan Greer’s independent label “InTime Records. With every new single Forgetting The Future release brings more excitement & hype around the band who have already exceeded expectations of music critics throughout Britain all the way over to LA. The band have caught the attention of some National Radio stations such as BBC Scotland, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, CO-OP Radio, Rob Fiddaman on The Hit Mix, EGH Radio & more. -dashh- was a lockdown project that become a lifestyle ...
We have performed in many different music venues including Hootenanny's Madhatters, Tooth and claw ,
opening the very first Beauly buzz Belladrum and The Black isle show..
we have a very eclectic mix of quirky well known covers and mash-ups,
we have also written some original songs 'Black Circle' and 'Siren'.
we are a mix of dark pop with a big sprinkle of party along the way.

Davy Cowan
Davy Cowan is a prominent singer/ songwriter from the Highlands of Scotland, a home-grown Troubadour in the true sense of the word. His music is original, inventive and thought-provoking (The Scots Magazine)
As well as being an accomplished solo artist, Davy is the lead singer & acoustic guitarist with the Highland Folk Rock band "Rhythmnreel" who have toured extensively at home & abroad now for many years & have recently released their first album with Davy’s original songs entitled “Holding Out for Freedom”.

Wee James
James has had a guitar in his hands since he was 2 years old. He just absolutely loves music. He started busking at 8 years old and, at 13, was lucky enough to get to play a song on stage at the pavilion in Strathpeffer alongside Callum Beattie. Callum and his manager then decided to sign James up and become his manager. Since then, James hasn’t stopped gigging
